The hovercraft was solely inspired from the Krimzon Guard Cruiser from the video game Jak II. I wanted to include all of the elements from the concept art and adapt them into 3D. Anything that was not visible from the artwork I would have to interpret myself in Maya, such as the bottom and rear of the craft.
